We have a wide range of filaments that can be used in the 3D printing sector for Medicine.
MATERIALS USED
Biocompatibility Certificates
The SMARTFIL® Medical and PETG filaments have this certification, which ensures the biocompatibility of parts printed with these filaments for topical use.
MATERIALS USED
SMARTFIL® Medical
High-quality filament specially designed for medical applications.
Medical BIOCOMPATIBILITY certificate USP Class VI or ISO 10993-1
SMARTFIL® PETG
PETG: Polyethylene terephthalate glycol copolymer extrusion filament, with 91% transparency in its natural state, very similar to glass and highly resistant, with great thermal resistance.
Medical BIOCOMPATIBILITY certificate USP Class VI or ISO 10993-1
SMARTFIL® PP
PP: Polypropylene, a thermoplastic obtained by polymerizing propylene. It is a very versatile material, compatible with most existing processing techniques. It has very good processability, being the plastic material with the lowest specific gravity at 0.90 g/cm3. Additionally, it has a water vapor barrier and good organoleptic, chemical, resistance, and transparency properties.
SMARTFIL® PLA
PLA: Polylactic Acid or Polylactide. A biodegradable plastic due to its natural origin.
