WHAT IS SMARTFIL® ECO?

SMARTFIL® ECO is a brand from SMART MATERIALS 3D, created in our commitment to contribute to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the European Union for the year 2030.

To achieve this, we have developed a range of 3D printing filaments and pellets made from recycled organic materials, without additives or pigments, which leverage the value of various waste products and give them a new life.

SMARTFIL® ECO offers a variety of filaments with organic fillers from plant and mineral sources, providing unique properties while being sustainable and contributing to the circular economy. It also adds a beautiful natural look to the final 3D printed parts.

WHAT MATERIALS DOES SMARTFIL® ECO OFFER?

SMARTFIL® ECO offers a wide selection of ECO filaments, each with its own unique personality and characteristics.

OLIVE

A filament based on PLA and olive pits, a highly abundant waste in Spain, the world's largest producer of olive oil. It has a natural color and a rough texture, ideal for creating pieces with a Mediterranean touch.

PINE

A filament made with pine wood filler, sourced from sustainably managed forests with the PEFC certification. With a wood-like texture that hides the plastic appearance, it is perfect for creating pieces with a rustic and natural look.

OYSTER

This is a very special filament as it is made from oyster shells sourced from the Mediterranean Sea. It has a ceramic color and a very smooth texture, making it ideal for creating unique pieces with a distinct minimalist and elegant touch.

CORK

A filament made from cork oak waste. It has a dark brown color and a very smooth texture, perfect for creating pieces with a warm and cozy appearance.

ALGAE

A filament made with spirulina (a highly nutritious blue-green unicellular algae), featuring an intense green color and a rough texture, ideal for creating pieces with an exotic touch.

R-PET

Made from recycled plastic bottles, a material commonly used in beverage packaging that takes a long time to degrade. It has a transparent color and a smooth texture, making it ideal for creating pieces with a modern and eco-friendly touch.

PLA RECYCLED

A filament made from PLA waste, our best-seller and the most commonly used material in 3D printing, produced from renewable resources such as corn or sugarcane. It comes in a wide range of colors and has a semi-matte finish, making it ideal for creating pieces with a versatile and high-quality touch.
