INNOVATEFIL® HYDROSOLUBLE

Water-soluble support filament suitable for multi-head 3D printers.

It is compatible with a wide range of materials for 3D printing and it is easy to print, allowing you to make pieces with complicated geometries. It can be used as support in completely inaccessible places for later removal.

ADVANTAGES

• EASY TO ELIMINATE. Dissolves quickly in water, eliminating the support material very easily.
• ALTERNATIVE TO HIPS. It is compatible with a lot of materials (PLA, ABS, NYLON, PETG) that it why it is an alternative to HIPS.
• GREAT THERMAL STABILITY Unlike PVA filaments, HYDROSOLUBLE has a great thermal stability, this allows making supports with great definition and accuracy. Besides having a lower flow index, drip is eliminated in the nozzle, avoiding stains in the piece in the extruder change.
• LESS ABSORPTION OF MOISTURE Comparing HYDROSOLUBLE with PVA, it has a lower level of moisture absorption, this makes it to last longer that PVA in time and it does not increase its diameter due to the humidity.

USE RECOMENDATIONS

OPTIMIZE BED TEMPERATURE ACCORDING TO MATERIAL

For materials such as PLA, we recommend to use a bed temperature lower than the indicated so PLA does not deform due to excess of temperature and still maintains its adherence.

PROTECT FROM MOISTURE

HYDROSOLUBLE dissolves in water that its why it must be protected and kept in a dry environment to avoid moisture and water absorption. The filament is pack in a vacuum bag with a great barrier against moisture to make sure it cannot absorb humidity. This bag closes with an automatic zip including a strong desiccant bag with great absorption power, so we strongly recommend to keep the filament inside it for protection. We recommend not to manipulate the filament with wet hands to avoid degradation.

PURGE THE MATERIAL ONCE USED.

We advise to purge the extruder to eliminate remaining material inside. Due to the nature of the material when subjected to an excess of temperature during a prolonged time, it degrades and crystallizes solidifying inside the extruder, this can cause seals.

WASTE DISPOSAL.

HYDROSOLUBLE is a biodegradable product, follow local and national regulations on plastic waste disposal.

Compatible con un amplio abanico de materiales para impresión 3D y con una gran facilidad de impresión, te permite fabricar piezas con geometrías complicadas y usarlo como soporte en sitios completamente inaccesibles para su posterior retirada.

VENTAJAS

• FÁCIL DE ELIMINAR. Permite su rápida disolución en agua, eliminando el material de soporte fácilmente.
• ALTERNATIVA AL HIPS. Compatible con gran cantidad de materiales (PLA, ABS, NYLON, PETG)  por lo que es una alternativa al HIPS.
• GRAN ESTABILIDAD TÉRMICA.  A diferencia de los filamentos de PVA, el filamento HYDROSOLUBLE dispone de una gran estabilidad térmica permitiendo realizar soportes con gran definición y exactitud además al disponer de un menor índice de fluidez se elimina el goteo en la boquilla por lo que evitamos así que la pieza pueda ser manchada en el cambio de extrusor.
• MENOS ABSORCIÓN DE HUMEDAD Si comparamos HYDROSOLUBLE con el filamento de PVA, este tiene un nivel mas bajo de absorción de humedad, esto hace que sea mas duradero que el PVA y que no aumente su diámetro con la humedad.

USE RECOMENDATIONS

OPTIMIZAR LA TEMPERATURA DE CAMA EN FUNCIÓN DEL MATERIAL

Para materiales como el PLA es recomendable utilizar una temperatura de cama inferior a la indicada para que de esta forma el PLA no se deforme por exceso de temperatura y aun así siga manteniendo su adherencia.

PROTEGER DE LA HUMEDAD

HYDROSOLUBLE es un material que se disuelve en agua, por tanto, es necesario proteger el filamento en un ambiente seco para evitar la absorción de humedad. El filamento se entrega en una bolsa al vacío con una gran protección barrera frente a la humedad de manera que no pueda absorber la humedad ambiente. Esta bolsa dispone de un cierre zip y en su interior contiene un desecante con gran poder de absorción de humedad por lo que se recomienda guardar el filamento dentro de ella para su protección. Es recomendable no manipular el filamento con las manos húmedas o mojadas para evitar su degradación.

PURGUE EL MATERIAL UNA VEZ UTILIZADO.

Es recomendable purgar el extrusor para eliminar el material restante de su interior. Debido a la naturaleza del material cuando se somete a un exceso de temperatura durante un tiempo prolongado, este degrada y cristaliza solidificando dentro del extrusor lo que puede provocar su obturación.

ELIMINACIÓN DE RESIDUOS.

HYDROSOLUBLE es un producto biodegradable, sigue las regulaciones locales y nacionales sobre eliminación de residuos plásticos.
