Our new formula of INNOVATEFIL PVA ULTRA (Additive polyvinyl alcohol), is a superior alternative to standard PVA, is part of the family of synthetic polymers used as a support element for double extruder printing equipment, among many of its advantages offers greater design freedom for parts with complex geometries, as well as deep cavities, conceptual modeling and mouldings without affecting the printing quality, thanks to the fact that we have managed to improve its performance front of thermal degradation, and also the range of materials with which it can be used is extended, being compatible with PLA, ABS, PETG, PA, CPE, among others.
Our INNOVATEFIL PVA ULTRA requires preheating the print tray between 60 - 90ºC and the extruder must reach a temperature between 200 - 240ºC for use. Designed to obtain an excellent performance as a support material, it only needs water to be removed, being faster with hot water, this avoids the use of solvents, which are usually more polluting and dangerous in addition to assuming an extra cost, once its dissolution has begun, the product disappears without leaving marks on the finished part.

Another advantage of our INNOVATEFIL PVA ULTRA is its behavior against moisture, its improved formula makes lower moisture absorption compared to a conventional PVA, keeping stable for a longer time and avoiding troubles of filament expansion or drip problems during printing, however by its nature, it is still a very hygroscopic material, so it is very important to handle the material correctly. After opening the filament packaging in order to minimize moisture absorption, it is recommended to always keep the reel in a resealable bag with the supplied desiccant.
