Choosing the appropriate resin for the print you want to create is one of the most crucial aspects of resin printing. The first step in the resin printing process is setting up the printer and making sure that all the parts are correctly put together and that the printing surface is clear and level. Before adding the resin to the printer's tank, it should first be stirred to ensure that it is evenly distributed and that there is enough for the intended print.

Printing can start after the printer has been set up and the resin has been positioned. A UV light from the printer will solidify the resin in layers until the entire object is formed. Contrary to filament FDM printers, resin printers can print quickly regardless of the quantity of objects on the build platform.

To guarantee the quality and longevity of the printed object, post-processing must be carried out after the print is finished. During this procedure, the resin may be further cured with UV light, the printed object may be washed to remove any remaining uncured resin, and the object may then be given a final polish to remove any flaws.
